Layer up!

While everyone on the east coast is enjoying the snow, us here in the Pacific Northwest, are enjoying the rain. It's usually raining here so this is nothing out of the ordinary. When I was getting dressed this morning, all I knew was that I wanted to do layers today. So the end result is a sweater pullover (not sure where it's from) and a denim chambray (American Eagle). I paired it with black skinnes (American Eagle) and motorcycle boots (Steve Madden). You can never go wrong with a good pair of skinny jeans for any outfit. As for my hat, I was not having the best hair day so a hat was much needed (Forever21 from years ago). This is an easy go to outfit when the weather is kind of gloomy outside and takes little effort.

Adventures of the Sibling Travelers

Earlier today, my brother and I were talking about the trip we were just fortunate enough to go on. It was our first time traveling just the two of us, and of course we decided to go halfway around the world. We first went to New York, which I am now obsessed with. Next was London, which I also absolutely love. Our final destination was Kuwait. The reason we went to Kuwait was to see family and cousins who we are close with but have only seen a couple of times in person. Traveling with my brother I knew would be interesting. We grew up being best friends, but I was worried we would get sick of being around each other so much. Before we left we talked about it and decided that we did need our space when we could get some, so then we wouldn't get sick of each other. So at night, we would do our own thing when we got to our hotel room and back to our aunt and uncle's house which is where we stayed in Kuwait. It is important to spend time together and to also go and do things without being together so that you can enjoy yourself without getting tired of the other person. We were gone for 25 days so that is why our own time was important. This seemed to work out because now we have caught the traveling bug and are talking about our next trip!
